Nike and Social Status join together to introduce the Air Max Penny 1 “Recess.” Composed of nubuck, suede, and leather within the upper, the low-top sneakers spotlight a transparent gel logo window at the toe box. Nubuck leather side panels make an appearance along with nylon cord trim at the overlays. EVA foam resides within the side walls, while the interchangeable velcro logos at the side panels and nylon grosgrain tape lace loops provide additional detailing. Rope front lacing, embroidered branding, and the foam midsole treated with Air Max cushioning add functional comfort. A translucent rubber outsole ties together the silhouette.
